Have you been detained under the Mental Health Act 1983? Would you like to take part in research exploring what supports patients to understand their rights?

Lauren McCormack is a mental health social worker and a student on the MA Social Work Practice (Think Ahead) programme and she is undertaking this research as part of the MA programme.

The research explores what supports service users to understand their rights under the Mental Health Act 1983 and involves a 5-10 minute online survey (link below).

Participants will also be asked if they would like to take part in a face-to-face interview in London. People who take part in the survey will be offered entry into a prize draw to win a £20 Amazon voucher and those who take part in the interview will be offered a £10 Amazon voucher as a thank you for giving up their time.
