On the Saturday 22nd October 2016, OCD Action’s Even Better Together support group project (funded by Big Lottery Fund) held its fourth annual Facilitator day in Birmingham (De Vere venues). The day is always a great opportunity for UK OCD/BDD & Hoarding support group facilitators to network, learn and share their experiences of running a peer support group. This year we welcomed 46 people, who represented 29 support groups.
Our Stakeholder day is only a few weeks away! This event gives us an opportunity to discuss our work, and to consult with members, supporters and other stakeholders about our future plans. It is an opportunity to have your say! This is a FREE event, and open to all members, volunteers and anyone interested in OCD Action and the work that we do.
If you haven't already booked your place for the event, you can do so simply (and free of charge) here.
Connect Week (‘CW’) will take place from 5 October 2015 – 11 October 2015, although groups that don’t meet during this week are welcome to join in the two weeks before and the two weeks after these dates.
CW is an OCD Action Better Together project initiative for support groups.
Conference is always a highlight of the OCD Action year and this year was no exception. We held the Conference in Manchester last weekend at the Manchester Conference Centre, and it was great to see so many new, as well as familiar, faces!
OCD Action's National Conference is only 3 days away, so this is your last chance to buy a ticket!
The OCD Youth event that is taking place alongside the Conference has now officially sold out, but there are still a limited number of tickets available for the main event and the online booking form can be used until 11.00 pm on Thursday 16th April.
OCD Action's National Conference is less than two weeks away. During the day, you will hear from leading OCD experts, inspirational speakers, and the OCD Action team. As well as this, there will be the chance to have your questions answered in one of our two Q+A sessions. These two sessions will run alongside each other, so to help you choose which to attend, here is a bit more information about them.
Join OCD Youth for their next exciting event which will be taking place in Manchester! This event will run alongside the OCD Action National Conference on the 18th April and spaces are limited, so have a look at the programme below and book your spot now.
This is a chance to to get to know other young people affected by OCD, meet the Youth Advisory Panel, and generally just have some fun in an environment where you can be yourself.

OCD Week of Action is all about fighting back. Everyone can get involved, whether it's taking the first steps to getting help for your OCD, or campaigning for better services, there are actions that you can take!
On Monday the 16th February we will be launching our take action website where you can go to create your own action plan to help you fight against OCD! We want as many people as possible to get involved and create an action plan, so please spread the word and let people know about Week of Action!
