An update on OCD and Mindfulness

At the OCD Action Member and Volunteer meet-up, Dr David Veale will be giving an update on OCD, particularly focusing on Mindfulness and exploring how it can be used to help with the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. At OCD Action, we receive a large amount of queries about the positive effects that Mindfulness can have on OCD; this talk will be a great opportunity for your questions to be answered.

As well as this, the meet-up will include;

  • A session mapping the service users journey, followed by a discussion of what services you think the Charity should be offering
  • A group discussion about our plans for 2015 OCD Week of Action and what you think we should be including in the week
  • A session regarding OCD Action's plans for future campaigns

The meet-up is for current Members and Volunteers and is free to attend. It will be taking place in Birmingham on the 15th November from 1.30pm-5pm. Places are limited so book now to avoid missing out!
