Charity Walk for Peace 2017 – walk with us!

Want to take part in a fantastic fundraising opportunity, and be part of a truly inspiring event?

OCD Action will be entering the Charity Walk for Peace on Sunday 14th May.

Completely free to enter and open to people of all ages and abilities, this fantastic event is a 5 mile walk in vibrant East London aimed at bringing together communities and supporting over 250 UK charities.

Not only this, but the event is Match Funded*, meaning all the money you raise for OCD Action will be DOUBLED by the Walk for Peace's organisers.

Every £10 raised will be worth £20 to OCD Action.

This means you can raise TWICE as much to help people with OCD without having to do anything extra yourself.

The event is organised by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community UK.

The event's organisers wrote:
The Charity Walk for Peace is an initiative of AMEA, an auxiliary organisation of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community UK. Our community advocates peace, tolerance and harmony in the society. Our Motto is “Love for All Hatred for None” and our volunteers work tirelessly to support the many noble causes to serve the communities we live in. Charity Walk for Peace is an annual event and over the past decade we have raised over £3.5 million which has been distributed to over 250 UK registered charities including The Royal British Legion, British Heart Foundation, Age UK, We are Macmillan as well as many small local charities.

So come and join us! It promises to be a truly awe-inspiring event.
