We know you’re all dying to know how Dean Breed and John Rowlands, who we wrote about a couple of weeks ago, have done in their respective half marathons.
Fortunately the answer for both is “brilliantly”!
Dean completed the Bath Half Marathon, which took place on 13th March, in a staggering 1 hour 32 minutes! And in doing so he managed to raise £187 – that’s £208.75 including Gift Aid! So well done and thank you Dean: along with your tireless work on the Youth Advisory Panel, you’ve done a great deal for people with OCD. And there’s still time to get in on it and donate to his Virgin Money page!
Here is Dean just before his run:
The following weekend, John ran the Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon, as promised, in a monkey onesie. And despite his choice of attire, he nearly managed to complete the whole thing! Most impressively, however, was the fact that he raised a HUGE £376.35 for OCD Action, which along with Gift Aid comes up to £463.85 towards helping people affected by OCD, which you can add to even more if you visit his JustGiving page! Thank you John. Thank you so much!
Congratulations to both of you, and watch this space for news on further fundraising activities. Of course, if you have any fundraising activities you are planning to do or thinking of doing, just drop Phil a line at firstname.lastname@example.org or call him on 020 7253 5272. Whatever you’re thinking of, any ideas are welcome!
