Piers Watson says: I’m stepping down as I believe it is good governance and the time is right to pass on the baton.  As someone who lives with OCD, I have been passionate about ensuring that the support I have received is available to everyone. It has been a great honour to chair OCD Action and, equally, I’m thrilled to be taking up this new role to drive the development and growth of OCD Action’s fundraising. I am keen for the Development Board to bring about positive change through innovative, transformative and impactful fundraising initiatives. My commitment to the charity remains undimmed.

Leigh Wallbank, CEO of OCD Action says: I would like to sincerely thank Piers for all he has contributed to OCD Action over the 25 years he has been involved. His vision and leadership over the last 5 years has enabled OCD Action to continue supporting and informing people affected by OCD, even when faced with challenging global circumstances. Over the recent months Piers has helped OCD Action shape our services and a vision that will provide a springboard for the future of the organisation. I very much look forward to continuing to work with Piers in his role as Chair of the Development Board.
