Another OCD radio feature this weekend. OCD Actions Colin Putney and David Veale will be guests on Charlie Jordan's Sunday afternoon show on London radio station, LBC 97.3 FM.

The slot is live, sometime between 5pm and 6pm and is supposed to be around 20 minutes in length.

 

 

Friday 21st November 2003:
Listen out for another OCD feature on BBC Radio 4 this Saturday.

The item is centred around the impact OCD had had not only on a sufferer but also on his wife and two young children. It is scheduled for broadcast this Saturday and repeated Monday evening.

The show is broadcast Saturdays 9-10am and repeated Mondays at 11pm. You can also listen via the Home Truth's website.

 

 

Wednesday 19th November 2003:
Listen out for another OCD feature on BBC Radio 4, hopefully this coming Saturday.

The item is centred around the impact OCD had had not only on a sufferer but also on his wife and two young children. It is scheduled for broadcast either this coming Saturday a.m. or the following Saturday a.m. The date will be a last minute editorial decision, so impossible be more precise about the time frame.

Tuesday 18th November 2003:
The Richard and Judy show will have an OCD feature on their Channel 4 programme this Wednesday evening.

Channel 4 are also showing a series of animated documentaries using real testimony from survivors of mental illness starting next week. Wednesdays show features OCD.

Sunday 2nd November 2003:
Many OCD and BDD sufferers can find their disorders lead them to also suffer from Agoraphobia, the condition where they are unable to leave their home or the area they live.

There is a BBC documentary about this condition on Wednesday evening at 10:35pm on BBC1.

Our online ordering facility will be offline tomorrow (Thursday) whilst our systems provider, WorldPay upgrade their services. The upgrade will bring considerable gains in terms of the performance, scalability and resilience of WorldPay's services.

OCD Action apologise for any inconvenience this will cause and normal service should be resumed on Friday.

We have been asked to ask for personal stories from BDD Sufferers that can be used on a new BDD website that is being built by a BDD sufferer.

Sunday 7th September 2003:
Mondays nights BBC show 'Inside Out' features OCD sufferer Alison Hargreaves, Alison was the lady who featured recently in a Woman's Own article. Read Article. The show will be shown on Monday night at 7:30pm on BBC1.

Woman magazine will also be featuring an OCD Article, they will feature the story of a mother whose child has OCD, the story is being featured in Woman magazine on 22/9/03.

We are also informed that the current edition of womans magazine Essentials carries a 3 page article about BDD.
