Relocation Project
Support Group Coordinator

Committee Members

Relocation Project:
We are looking for an individual with estate agent experience or someone who may have purchased a new property recently to undertake a 12 month project to investigate the relocation of our North London office to South of the river.

You would be responsible for finding a suitable location, coordinating with our office manager to agree the right location, planning the relocation and eventually organising the move.

You would be required to either send in your reports or attend our committee meetings, held every 6th Tuesday (6pm-8pm) in Central London. Although you would be running this project alone you would have the full backing and support of the committee as and when you require it.

The project would suit somebody in the London area however this is not essential if the right individual is found who could manage this project. Travel expenses could possibly be paid.

Support Group Coordinator:
OCD Action does not host any support groups, however we do support the work of many UK based support groups and we also like to help the setting up of new support groups.

This task falls within the remit of the OCD Action committee, so the candidate would be required to report to the OCD Action committee meetings, held every 6th Tuesday (6pm-8pm) in Central London. You would be responsible for liasing with each of the Support Groups regularly, ensuring that we have upto date records in our literature and on our website.

Ideally long term we would like the Coordinator to be able to visit each support group at least once a year, although we do not have the finances to implement this at the moment.

Fundraiser:
One of the biggest problems we face as a charity is raising funds for our many projects. Ideally we would like to appoint someone who has experience of raising funds from Charity Commissions or large companies. You would get the full support and backing of the committee and you would be expected to report back to the committee every 6 weeks on Tuesday evenings.

The location of this individual is not important, but ideally you be prepared to travel to London every 6 weeks for the committee meetings, Travel costs could be claimed back.

Committee Members:
The OCD Action committee comprises 12 members. Each committee member takes up a different task within the charity and is expected to report back to the other committee members every 6 weeks on Tuesday evenings.

A person joining the committee may be someone who undertakes one of the above roles or may be someone who has an entirely different skill set that could be of use to the charity.

We openly seek interest and applications from all people irrespective of their sex, age, race, culture, disability or sexual orientation.
