Sorry it's another day when I can't go shopping so I've nothing to report. But I've run out of the essentials - Chocolate

Didn't buy anything today either. This is depressing. Why do I have to come to work. I wish I could just be given money to live away from everybody else. I could live with that

Like that bloke who won the job as "caretaker" of that tropical island. He has a luxury pad and only does about 10 mins of "work" everyday. He looks after turtles laying eggs on the beach. And earns a 6 figure salary. Jammy git.

    Thu Mar 25 2010 17:34:04 #
  11. Think I could almost cope with a tropical island. Just think no chemical contamination (barring oil slicks ) and no laundry - just a quick dip in the ocean to clean everything then just dry yourself in the sun. The six figure salary wouldn't go amiss either

Sorry for using this as distraction therapy, but a tropical island is a great distraction isn't it?

  12. Today I bought a courgette, potato, carrot, onion and garlic, bulgar wheat, chick peas and a french stick to make some north african soup called chorba. I also bought some minced beef, mashed potato, grated cheese and onion and some filo pastry to make some parcels called Bourek, another north african speciality.

I made it this morning for my kids when they come back from school and uni. I won't be eating it as I am off to my friends for the weekend.

  13. Yesterday I bought some box files and folders and today I filed most of my paper work neatly away I was fed up with the pile of papers in the corner of the room it had started to look like some ghastly art installation

  14. Hi,

It's me again. I've bought nothing exciting as per usual But panic over as today I managed to buy some chocolate, I had a craving for it yesterday and none in the flat. It's so typical that when you've got it you don't want it, but as soon as you run out of chocolate you're desperate for it I also bought some big juicy plums.

    Sat Apr 10 2010 10:14:03 #

  23. Today I bought a ticket to Cornwall. I am going down at the weekend to celebrate my mum's 70th birthday. I hope the weather is like the weather we had this weekend. I am especially looking forward to the Cream Teas and Cornish Pasties mmmm and seeing my mum and family of course

    Mon Apr 12 2010 20:08:56 #
  24. I bought clippers so that I can trim the cat's claws as they've grown so quickly recently that she gets caught up in everything. It came to a head when she got out of her bed and walked across the room complete with the bed attached to her

I also tried to be good and buy healthy food as opposed to the rubbish I've been eating of late. I'm experimenting to see if I can improve my mood and get more sleep. Fingers Xd

  26. It's certainly more interesting than what I bought, I haven't bought any new clothes for ages as I'm fed up with everything getting ruined because I have to wash them so frequently

BTW haven't managed to corner the cat yet to cut her claws

    Tue Apr 13 2010 21:53:57 #
  27. I didn't buy anything today instead recycled a load of old clothes to the charity shop. Need a week to get over the shock of parting with them

    Thu Apr 15 2010 14:44:07 #
  28. Today I bought a lovely watch and bracelet set for my mum's birthday, I'm sure she'll be pleased with it.

  29. Today i bought a bus ticket and together with my daughter and my crutches got into town for the first time in almost 7 weeks!! woohooooooo best £2.50 i've spent in ages, in fact the only money i've personally spent in ages lol

    Sat Apr 17 2010 16:40:59 #
  30. Do you mean to say that you managed to go around the shops and not buy anything? Once you're truly back on your feet you'll be able to enjoy yourself catching up on all those missed shopping trips.
