    If you haven’t chosen one already how about choosing an avatar for yourself?

    Like me you don’t have to choose a picture of yourself, you can upload an image or photo from your computer. So go to My Profile and click on Change Avatar and follow the instructions.

    Let’s see how many avatars we can get by the end of the month

    Thanks Tess,

    It was a five minute doodle whilst waiting for the GP to ring me back. She needs tidying up but I can do that at a later date.

    Trudy, Your avatar is excellent. It doesn't need tidying up, or were you referring to your GP?! If so, will she allow you to?!

    I'm trying to sort one out but don't know how to make a picture into the correct file to upload. Been looking for pictures on the internet but don't know how to save them except as by cutting and pasting on word Any suggestions? (not very IT savvy as you probably guessed)

    I'm not very IT savvy either, but I'm sure someone will know the answer

    I suppose you could always print the picture and scan it then you could upload it. That's what I did with the avatar that I drew.

    Any suggestions for Jo and others like me that aren't too hot on all things IT?

    It's so depressing to see a page of monochrome avatars don't you think?

    I've just changed mine. What do you think of it?

    I think it is nice to have an avatar and to change them from time to time as it brightens the place up although it can be a little confusing initially when someone changes theirs.

    I like it Jo Don't worry it took me ages to figure it out too. It's much more uplifting to see a page of colourful avatars. Plus it's easier to see who's posted on a thread.

    Thanks Jo. I think it's Weed from Bill and Ben the Flower Pot Men. The trouble is when you change your avatar it changes on all of your posts and that can make some messages, like the message from Truddles saying it makes her feel hungry (when the avi was a hot dog) look a bit odd.
