  2. Hi Truddles

You raise an interesting philosophical question. If I gave my brain to someone else, would my soul (ie. whatever makes me me and not you) accompany my brain to the other person's body? Or would the recipient of my brain retain his/her own sense of identity?

Seriously, I hope your hands will soon get fully better whatever the weather. Take good care of yourself!

PS. I'm only saying this because I'm a pedant, but the word senility simply means old age without there necessarily being any disfunction. The word you probably mean is dementia.

  3. Hi Parvez,
I just don't want an old persons brain I'd rather have one that's not liable to conk out in the near future like mine

    Dear Truddles

It is so nice to have the beach babe back.

Actually, I think our brains are rather good for our age. I come out at forty years of age on my Nintendo Brain Training and got 'honours student' on a computer intelligence test which concerned lateral thinking. Bill Gates apparently scored really badly.

My mum, who was still writing books at over 80 and who learned how to use a lap top at 82, had a better brain than many people a quarter of her age. When I asked her how she did it she told me that her brain was so full of stuff that she chucked out the bits which were unimportant and kept the important bits.

Truddles you have a very good brain and a wonderful sense of humour. I would hold on to it if I were you.

    xx Glad
