Anyway, i was on his laptop and i found all these incomplete porn downloads, he is very against porn and so am i. I asked him wtf was going on and he told me a few months back he was worried he found porn arousing and he wanted to make sure he didn't so he downloaded some but they didn't finish and he didnt' see anything, just the titles, he said was gross and he felt bad about it. Now we've been together and living together for almost 2 years, so i know this man very well. i am still hurt and bothered but i want to believe him because i have had similar triggers and compulsions regarding "oh do i really like that" someone please help me, please give me the strength to move past this because my OCD is going nuts now over his compulsion. please PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP

  3. As your boyfriend started to download the porn but did not complete the download, and therefore was not able to see it other than the titles, then it sounds perfectly logical that what he says is true - so why not believe him? You have known him for two years and are able to make a decision. You say you want to believe him and you know how OCD can affect people - put the two together and you have your answer. Put this down to the way this cruel condition can affect peoples' minds try to put it in the past.

Ashlennon, Please forgive me for not replying to your PM. I feel so bad about it. I've been engrossed in my world of mice and contamination and wasn't on-line. Jerama is right and it looks as if he has really helped you. I agree with him completely. I have a male friend with OCD who has done similar. Your boyfriend sounds so genuine, I do hope you can believe him and realize his OCD drove him to look up the site in the first place and it's your OCD making you doubt he went no further than he said. If it's any consolation I've been in the same kind of position and know you can be physically sick with these kinds of thoughts, so I do realize the hell you were going through.

Wish I hadn't said that, it seemed I was tempting fate.

The last PM I sent someone didn't arrive. Please let me know if you haven't received a PM from me today. I'm thinking of you.
