TV stars pledge their support
Daytime television favourites Fiona Phillips and Denise Robertson have joined thousands of others in pledging to help end mental health prejudice.
Fiona spoke about her support for Time to Change in the Mirror last summer, and has now made her own personal pledge:
"I pledge to help end mental health prejudice, because people with mental health problems need love, understanding and support - not to be told to 'pull yourself together.' It's our outdated attitudes that need to snap out of it - any one of us could be affected, so we should all learn more and talk more about mental health."
Join Denise and Fiona and support our pledge:

Come along to our Lived experience networking events
This September, we're holding two networking events to bring together people with lived experience of mental health problems who are involved in Time to Change.
Plans are still in progress but they are provisionally set for Sheffield on Friday 10 September and Bristol on Monday 13 September. They are for anyone with direct experience of mental health issues who is involved in Time to Change through our community projects; supporters and Champions; volunteers; END Involvement Workers; LEAP Advisors and service user evaluators.
The events will be a great opportunity to share your experiences, learn from others, feed back to us and be involved in shaping future plans for Time to Change.
If you'd like to come along please email us to register your interest, and we'll send you more information.

What does the future hold for Time to Change?
It's been a busy few months for Time to Change as we've been making plans for the future of our work. We're currently funded by the Big Lottery Fund and Comic Relief until September 2011, but we need to continue well beyond that to have a real and lasting impact on public attitudes.
These are uncertain times, but we believe the government has a role to play in funding the campaign in the next phase, so we've been working on a bid to convince politicians of the importance of our work and the human and economic benefits it can bring.
We have also made a short film to show how much we have achieved so far . But there's still a long way left to go and with your support we will fight hard to ensure we can continue on the journey to equality for everyone with mental health problems. We'll keep you updated!
