  1. Hi everyone,

Anne posted the following on the OCD forum and so I have copied it for her to this forum.

    Hi

As you will see I am writing a book about OCD from the sufferers' perspective. 'The Project.' The aim is to improve awareness and, hopefully, to get quicker and more targeted treatment.

I am only too aware of the effect of OCD on the husbands, relatives and
friends of sufferers. I am going to write a chapter on the subject of OCD and relationships and wonder if any of you relatives/carers would be willing to provide me with accounts of how our OCD has affected you. My husband will be contributing.

Any contributions will remain anonymous. Please PM me if you are willing to help. I can also let you have my email if you would prefer this.

    Very best wishes
    Anne

    Hi

Before I even start preparing questionnaires, I need to find out what you carers would like to get out of this project. For instance, what would help you to cope better? I would really value your views and advice as it hard for me to see OCD from a carer's perpsective.

    Thanks in advance
    Anne

ps you can PM me if your prefer
