  1. What is the daftest or most idiotic thing that has happened to you this week?

I'll start. I took my computer to the local specialist to have it repaired and they agreed to let me know when it was ready. After a week I rang them and they said it was fixed on the same day I took it in and they had sent me an email to let me know. How daft can you get, how was I supposed to see the email when my computer was in their shop?

  2. Well, I've deliberately sabotaged 2 friendships with women, because I didn't want to be rejected. Come to think of it, that's not daft at all, its just good economics

I'm worried about how you view/relate to other people, Giles. It's not healthy to push people away just because they don't fancy you.

  4. Helz, I wonder too. My brain is clearly shooting chemicals around it and causing so much negativity when I do this, but I can't take it being told about how wonderful their lives are. "oh my boyfriend this and my boyfriend that" And my mates, "my girlfriend this and girlfriend that" Oh and I'm not saying it out aloud, but I'll just feel my girlfriend up in front of you.

Now my boss has gotten engaged. Fair play to her, but I really wish I didn't hear that.

  5. The daftest thing that has happened to me this week was deciding to prove to the OCD support group this afternoon that chickens eggs are like jelly when they are laid and the shells harden instantly on contact with the air. So we took an egg which had been laid directly into water which stops the shells from hardening and put it in the centre of the table as a talking point. No-one would believe it was a real egg although everyone picked it up despite contamination fears. Then my husband opened it up with a penknife and tried to cook it - but there was only a water heater and a kettle in the meeting room so it took up half the meeting and eventually became a semi cooked watery mess which has ended up as a dog's supper.

  6. The daftest thing that has happened to me this week was when I went on facebook to tell my friend I couldn't go to the cinema, and I sent the message and then went onto my friends page to see if she had seen her, as she lives next door, and then realised she must be at school on her mobile's internet, and then asked her to tell her at school. I then realised I had been looking at my watch, which stopped at 02:00pm the other day. I then reached the further conclusion that is was 04:00.

  7. Reminds me of the time that I got in from work mid afternoon and was so tired that I fell asleep. I woke with a start and saw that it was 7:00, so in a blind panic I quickly washed, dressed and rushed out of the home as I thought that I was going to be late for my shift. Walking down the hill to work, I thought it strange that everyone else was going in the opposite direction to me but continued never the less as I didn't want to be late for work. They were surprised to see me back at work so soon and thought that I was really keen. Yes you've guessed it, I'd only been asleep for about three hours and had gone back into work in the evening instead of the following morning Well it was that time of year when the light levels are the same for both 7 am or 7 pm. After that I bought a clock with a 24 hour read out so I knew whether it was am or pm

  8. I arrived home the other day and began to panic because I couldn't find my door key. I was wearing one of those jackets with lots of pockets and was desperately searching all of them. I only had one hand free so I thought if I put down the thing I was holding in the other hand it would be easier to go through all the pockets. So, I put down the thing I was holding and yes, you've guessed it, it was my door key!
