  1. Oh my goodness! At last!! I have been married for just two years and my husbands suffers from OCD. And I use that word intentionally, because he does suffer. I have been seeking advice as best I can but finally have found somewhere where what I think/feel/say has already been thought/felt/said! What a relief already.

I have recently started taking some 'breathing space' and found that I have come back with an entirely new energy to work with my husband. I find that I keep a huge amount of our lives and information relating to our lives hidden from him so as not to exasperate, an further, his OCD. Having read some of the forums, I realise that I am doing the right thing.

As someone else already mentioned, I too, have suffered healthwise while trying to cope with my husbands illness and am so grateful to see so many people who are ready to support. My husband would not be even slightly impressed if I told him I was researching OCD tonight, but already I feel so much better.

Thank you. You don't even know that you have helped!!

  2. Hi Gemini
Welcome to the forum, it's great to get some positve feedback.
You say your husband would not be impressed if he knew you were researching OCD but it has already helped you and it could help him too. There is no need to suffer in silence with this condition.
