Hi there i just wondered if there was a OCD support group in sheffield just for teens?

And mean. For some reason I get on better with adults despite being a teen myself.Me loves the username.

There's a support group in Sheffield, it's not specifically for teens but there might be teens that go to the meetings.

and i know what you mean, they often think that their the only ones that matter and that we're just doing it for attention [which really gets on my nerves!]and thanks Truddles, i shall take a quick look

UnregisteredI had one online friend who claimed to have depression. I don't think she did. She was very warped, twisted. She kept playing all sorts of nasty mind games and it wasn't very nice at all. I get the feeling now that she was just taking advantage of my vunerablity.

i understand, i have a friend, and if something happens to me, it happens to her twice as bad i.e. i often have, lets say, wierd problems where i see things few seconds before they happen [its your choice to believe me although i have heard this is a danger when having OCD as many people experience spirtual things] anyway, then she claimed she had it, when i told her about my OCD, she then apparantly 5 minutes later just realised she had a mental problem too which was [according to her] so much worse than OCD!
i couldn't believe it!

She always did that. Apparently she had thoughts about trees and shadows or something and there are good bits and bad bits, only the dark bits are the good ones..... 
She didn't have a clue what she was talking about really.

and jess, i know some people think they know what their talking about but they dont, its often quite obvious if someone is lying about this kind of thing and i think this person is not an acception to the rule haha

I have been to the group in Sheffield and I'm sorry there werent any teenagers there but that isnt to say you wouldnt be most welcome. Everybody is really nice especially the organiser Jonathan. He is a member on here if you look under groups in forum lists he has posts on the Sheffield Group.
