I'm pleased to provide the dates of the South Hampshire (Eastleigh) OCD Support Group meetings for 2011

We meet on the first Saturday in the month:

Sat 8th January
Sat 5th February (starts 3pm)
Sat 5th March (starts 3pm)
Sat 2nd April
Sat 7th May
Sat 4th June
Sat 2nd July
Sat 6th August
Sat 3rd September
Sat 1st October
Sat 5th November
Sat 3rd December

All meetings are at:

Centenary Hall
Chamberlayne Road *
Eastleigh
SO50 5JH

* between Factory Road and Blenheim Road

and are from 2.15pm – 4.45pm.

Nearest Railway station: Eastleigh, then a few minutes walk

Nearest bus routes: all routes to Eastleigh (Bus Station), then a few minutes walk

Car parking: Free, on forecourt (ignore the 'No Parking' signs!)

Anyone affected by OCD, their family members and friends, are most welcome

Portsmouth and South Hampshire (Eastleigh) OCD Support Groups

Outing to Portsmouth and Southsea – Walk and Bowling – 4th September 2011

When

Sunday 4th September 2011, 1530-1930 approx.

Where

Meet Portsmouth Harbour Station (main exit) at 1530

Walk to Southsea seafront and back (approx. 2 miles)

Bowling at Bowlplex, Gunwharf Quays (next to Portsmouth Harbour Station) – arrive 1715 one game booked for 1730-1830 approx. (cost £5.50 each)

Meal and drink at Bowlplex – meal prices vary from Jacket Potato at £2.90 to Pizza at £8.75

Finish approx. 1930

If you would prefer to meet at Bowlplex approx. 1715 that’s fine but please take a note of my phone number in case of any problems

Who

Anyone who has attended at least one meeting of either the Portsmouth or the South Hampshire (Eastleigh) OCD Support Group (friends or family members are also welcome)

Ground Rules

The same ground rules as the Support Group meetings will apply, so your confidentiality will be respected.

Booking

Not necessary – just turn up, although if you could let me know you are coming that would be useful. I will allow for any late running trains.

Portsmouth and South Hampshire (Eastleigh) OCD Support Groups

Outing to Portsmouth – Walk around Dockyard and Gunwharf Quays – 4th March 2012

When

Sunday 4th March 2012, 1430-1830 approx.

Where

Meet Portsmouth Harbour Station (main exit) at 1430

Walk to and around Portsmouth Historic Dockyard (approx. 1/2 mile)

Afternoon tea and cakes at a cafe in the Dockyard approx. 1530

Walk round to Gunwharf Quays around 1630-1730 (Dockyard gates close 1730)

Meal and drink at a pub or restaurant in Gunwharf Quays from approx. 1700-1730

Finish approx. 1830

If you would prefer to leave around 1700 that's fine

If you would prefer to meet at Gunwharf Quays approx. 1700 that’s fine but please take a note of my phone number in case of any problems

Who

Train from Winchester, Eastleigh, Fareham, Cosham, Hilsea arrives at 1426
Train from Southampton arrives at 1404
Train from Petersfield and Havant arrives at 1411
Train from Chichester arrives at 1404

Train departure times from Portsmouth Harbour:
Trains to Winchester, Eastleigh, Hilsea depart at 1827 and 1927
Trains to Southampton, Fareham, Cosham depart at 1837 and 1908
Trains to Petersfield and Havant depart at 1832 and 1848
Trains to Chichester depart at 1843 and 1914

Car Parking

Historic Dockyard Car Park, which is situated approximately 400 yards from the main entrance

£4 for up to 4 hrs

Costs

This is aimed to be a low cost trip so please note we are not planning to go onto / into any of the ships or other paid-for attractions in the Dockyard due to the high costs.

You will just need to allow a small amount for a cup of tea and a cake or similar in the afternoon, and if you are staying for a meal and a drink in Gunwharf Quays later allow for that. I will do my best to find good value places to eat!
