  1. ive been worrying since november when i was told that mu psychiatrist was going to apply for me to go to the maudsley as to how myt employers would react. Anyway i told my boss on Friday and she was really nice and said shesaw no difference in me going into hospital for ocd than if i needed to go into hospital for anything elses. So feel really positive now just waiting for the referral to be sent and initial assessment to take place.
    Feel very relieved

  2. Hi Swan
Thanks for sharing this with us, it's really good to know that some employers are enlightened and not stuck in stigmatised outdated attitudes. I guess her approach has taken some of the stress off you and it will make it easier for you to face going into hospital and that in turn will be helpful to your treatment, your employer is a sensible lady.
