I am pleased to inform group members that Jude Wynn from OCD Action has agreed to join us (weather permitting!) at the next group meeting. This promises to be an informative session. As well as offering updates on the work of OCD Action, Jude will also talk about the new Advocacy project which amongst other things, aims to enable OCD sufferers to empower themselves in the workplace and other environments.

The next group meeting is scheduled for 11th January. Jude Wynne (OCD Action) will be joining us at this meeting having being thwarted by the snow last month!

Thanks to Jude and to everyone who turned out for Monday's support group meeting. I hope it was both interesting and informative. Any group members who are planning on attending Saturday's OCD Conference in Manchester are welcome to join us - we will be catching the 08.42 train from Sheffield!

Hey to everyone above,

i am a Canadian exchange university student living in York. I am an OCD sufferer, and would like to visit your suport group. can you give me some details, i.e. location.
York doesn't have a strong system for things liek this.

Just to let everyone know that we really appreciate the ongoing commitment of our members to this group. Whether you are an occasional attender or a regular - everyone's contributions form a valuable component of the group's core objectives - to share the burden and to stand up to OCD. Look out for the June edition of 'Your Voice' magazine for a short write up about the group. We are also looking to invite a guest speaker along to upcoming meetings - inspirational speakers with a story to tell about their OCD would be particularly coveted! See you soon - Jonathan

Hi

Just to let group members know that tonight's meeting (20th December) is going ahead as scheduled (that is if folks don't mind the arctic temperatures). Unfortunately our guest speaker won't be able to make it to the meeting tonight but this has been rearranged for 14th February.

Hi all

I'd like to inform all group members that i am again facilitating the support group here in Sheffield. Thanks to Helen and Megan for doing a great job while i popped off to get married. Megan will continue to co-facilitate the group with me in 2012 and the next meeting will be in early January - date TBC. I will write out to members about 10 days in advance as per usual.

Hi

Next meeting is Monday 16th January at 7.00pm. Existing group members should have received letters confirming this date.

I will be facilitating this meeting along with Stacey who is a student on placement with us. Meanwhile all the very best of luck to Helen who is going travelling for a year - thanks for your efforts with the group.
