  1. I am a student researching OCD and the consequences it has on modern day life for my Stage 2 Research Project. I am not personally affected by the condition, but would be really grateful for any opinions and stories relating to the condition, that are based on first-hand experience.

    All posts welcome!

  2. There are literally thousands of posts on this forum giving actual real first hand experiences, not just opinions and stories - we don't need them as OCD is all to real for sufferers. I don't think members will take too kindly to being asked to re-live what for them are very distressing and frequently life destroying experiences.

OCD has severe and dramatic effect on all aspects of life, detroying the quality of life and effectively preventing people having what is accepted as a "normal" life by the vast majority of the population.

Please do go ahead and research the consequences of OCD and please tell others what you found out about it but I respectfully suggest that as a first step you spend some time and trawl through the thousands of posts on this forum and after you have done that then it may be appropriate to find out if some members would be willing to expand on their experiences.
