Hello,

Since the new look forum was set up I have somehow managed to change my username from Arran to xxx

Please could a forum admin or moderator advise how I can get back onto the boards with my original username?

At the top of the page click on "My Profile", then click on "Edit profile", then in the box "Public Nickname" type in the user name you want to use (Arran) and put in you password where asked and that is about it, you will become Arran again.

You are not alone, occasionally the forum computer (or however it works - I'm not that up on this sort of thing) takes a dislike to me

Hi Arran, Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

I'll look in to the issue now - looks like this is a technical issue! I just tried changing your nickname, but the forum is not latching on to the change - it seems like an isolated issue as I can change my own username without an issue.

I have a feeling that its related to the anti-spam feature because of the 'xxx', so the systems not letting you change anything. I'll send you a PM now with some further details.
