I have noted that in the past when my OCD symptoms were at their peak with anxiety, I would hit a low and become very depressed, anyone else have this experience?

Hi Rena
Yes, I've experienced this in the past - many times. Thankfully I am now fairly stable on a maintenance dose of 10mg Seroxat and I seem to keep free of the terrible lows - but when my OCD has been bad in the past I could plunge into suicidal depression very rapidly, within an hour, but conversely when the stress came off me - either an outburst of anger or resolution of a stressful situation the depression would lift just as rapidly.
Hi Rena, I too have suffered many bouts of depression and am currently going through a bad episode at the moment accompanied by severe anxiety. I definately think the depression is linked to when the OCD is bad.
Take Care
Bridget
