  1. Hey guys!
My name is Bobbie, I have been suffering with OCD for five years and it manifests itself into intrusive, violent and sexually unpleasant thoughts. I am, however, able to live normally without any worries these days.
I do, howver, know that it is not that simple for hundreds of people. I am constantly astonished by how little people know about OCD and how much it can incapacitate the sufferer. And I would like to educate those who don't know.... I am a film student at The Univeristy of West London and have been selected to produce/direct my teams documentary. I pitched my subject on OCD and people are eager to know more. I am looking for somebody to focus the documentary on and film them doing and explaining their compulsions.
AS A SUFFERER MYSELF, I WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS NOW THAT THIS WILL BY NO MEANS BE A 'SIDE-SHOW' OR 'FREAK' REPRESENTATION - I WANT TO SHOW PEOPLE HOW TERIBLE LIFE CAN BE WITH OCD, AND THE FILMING WOULD BE DONE IN AN ACADEMIC AND COMPASSIONATE WAY.
If anybody is interested and lives in London, then please let me know if you would like to contribute. I am also in contact with other organisations and psychologists, so I hope nobody will take this project of mine badly.
    Thanks and take care.
