Hi actionagainstocd,
You are not the only teenager with OCD to experience what you're going through so please don't feel that you're the only one. There are others on this forum.
I suggest that you speak to your GP and ask him or her to refer you for CBT to help you to learn how to conquer the dreaded OCD. It really is a bully and like all bullies needs putting in it's place.
It sounds as if your confidence is extremely low and it needs to be built up.We all need to boost our confidence and self esteem in order to tackle OCD as it's nigh on impossible to do so with low confidence or self esteem. CBT will help you to do this and slowly but surely as your confidence and faith in yourself grows you'll find that gradually you'll be able to do the things that you want to do. OK it's scary asking for help but not as scary as living with OCD is.
With regards to you saying
Ifeel like I'm never going to grow up.
You are growing up, you've identified that you have a problem and that you need help and that shows a maturity that most teenagers don't possess.
Remember have faith and believe in yourself, you're just as good as everyone else
