  1. Hi guys,

Just a quick message for all to mentioned that the navigation menu in the header has now been updated to make the site easier to traverse. When visiting any section of the site the bar will retain the sub-menu for you depending on where you are.

We would welcome any feedback regarding bugs, requests and general suggestions on the menu. Please note that there may also be alterations over the next few days

    All the best,
    Sysop.

  2. Hi Sysop
Quick panic when I clicked onto the site, was expecting the forum blue box to be at the end of the top line - waited for it to come up (our broadband down here in Cornwall is very slow!) and then thought I had a virus. So thanks for this sticky thread. So far I think the change is an improvement, having the sub menu displayed is much better and it makes it easier to see all the options at a glance. Looking forward to seeing what else you have up your sleeve.

  3. I got a shock as I didn't originally get what we see now and I too thought that I'd got a virus.
It's good that you no longer have to go to the bottom of the page to access the community page.
Also it should now make it easier for members that access the site using either phones or iPads now that the forum button and the login/logoff buttons at the top of the page have been separated, they now shouldn't keep accidentally logging off.

  4. We've been promising you some updates and improvements for some time now and even asked for your comments and suggestions on the "The Forum Needs You" thread - and here are some of them.

However, I have to confess that I too was caught on the hop and had a surprise when the new navigation menu and header came up, even more so as I just left the forum for a few moments to ask via email what progress had been made and when I came back it had all changed!

  6. I like the new navigation bar, it's great that we can now access everything from both the top and the bottom of each page. Saves my scrolling finger from over exertion

  7. Thanks Truddles, this exercise routine may help.

If you're over 30, you might want to take it easy at first, then do it faster as you become more proficient. It may be too strenuous for some.

Always consult your doctor before starting any exercise programme!

That's enough for the first day. Great job.

    Don’t want to overdo it.

But seriously we are looking at ways of improving the forum so please do let us know what you would like to see.
