My Admittance to hospital

Hello Everyone,
I just needed to tell ALL my friends here that i have got my admittance date for this Monday 9th June , apparentley they have had a cancellation so i have been contacted this morning about going in on short notice.

As you can imagine it came as a bit of a shock but never the less ... I am going !
I am absolutely petrified , i have just got the weekend to get everything sorted out.

Dear Bren, That is wonderful news! I can imagine how frightened you are, but remember that anyone in your position would feel the same. Once you get there and meet all the others you will feel so much better. If you do change your mind about the train I am happy to take you, Bren.

I really felt you would be at the Bethlem during the summer. I have such a good feeling about this!

I'll be thinking of you, Bren, and sending you healing during the afternoon. Don't forget the group healing at 7.00PM, I will contact the others and let them know you need support right now.

Hello, What the hell is wrong with me ?
I cant go into hospital, i cant do it
Its too difficult for me to go and confront it
I know i'm a failure but this is too much for me
I am distraught over the whole thing

You are not a failure... I have read some of your other posts and if seems to me that you are a fighter!!

Just remember - certain days we can fight harder than others...

Sid, i have fought most of my life to keep my sanity , to keep my head up when i felt i could'nt go on, but this fight about going in for a 12 week stay has been too much of a fight even for me.
thanks for your kind remark Sid i did make me feel better by myself and not such an unapreciated sod.

Sorry I haven't been here for you but I am so pleased you are going. I hope you are feeling better and want to wish you all the best. It isnt going to be easy but it could be the best thing you ever do. You are going to be taking the first steps to a OCD free life. I am so excited for you . Achievements

Today I went to the plant nursery and had a good rummage looking for plants for my containers and didn't feel the need to clean my hands until I got into the car. I've even topped up the pots with new compost and planted everything and then swept up.

Thursday (10th May) I handed in my last assignment of a 3 year degree course, meaning I've completed a degree despite being affected badly by OCD for two-thirds of my time there. For the first time in months I feel as if I have achieved something :).
