  1. Hi!
Does anyone use music (listening to music/playing a musical instrument/singing a song to oneself)to help them block out unwanted thoughts ? I do, and it really helps

  6. I try singing if I'm having problems doing a task because of the unwanted thoughts and find concentrating on the lyrics helps to distract.

I find that songs with lyrics like 'I'm dying inside' and such make me so ashamed and guilty about myself, its so unbelievable. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to live without anybody else. The Fallout 3 universe kind of appeals to me - I'd love to be the lone wanderer encountering people only every now and again and performing good karma deeds, although the Super Mutants and the Deathclaws may be a pain in the backside, but my shotgun and VAT's would take care of them.
