  1. Hello All
I am really missing our dear friend Tricia !
For awhile now i have noticed she has not been on the forum, she seemed to keep this forum alive with her lovely supportive nature and her long term experiences of OCD.
She has helped me tremendously as i know she has done for many others on here, SO where is our dear friend ? i really hope she is not too ill or mixed up to carry on helping others.
We need her valued support, please help me with this plea for her return.

  2. Don't worry, Brennie, I'm sure she'll be back. She's probably just busy, or maybe feeling down, but knows her friends are here, so will never be too far away.

Hope you're not too bad yourself, as well.

    Best wishes,
    Steve x

  3. Hi there!

Yes I had noticed that myself. Maybe Tricia just wanted a little break like I did the other week? Also I am wondering if she might have internet connection problems perhaps? Anyway, I miss her too!

    Thanks Bren, Steve and Natasha,

I've been away for several reasons, I'm very busy, I've also been depressed but that seems to be lifting. I'm anxious about saying something that will cause distress and I also feel a fool for the long message detailing some of my very weird and extreme behaviour! And there were many of you thinking I was almost normal. I guess I've blown my cover. Don't worry, if ever I make it to an OCD Action conference I'll try my best to come fully clothed!

    Love, Tricia.

  7. Tricia never feel foolish about writing that which is true about yourself , nothing sounds weird about what you explained in your long post ! it merely explained the extent of how your OCD affects you in so many chronic disabling ways which i found a great deal of empathy and understanding with ... bless you Tricia you have had so much to deal with in your life with this horrid illness, its horendous just how many different forms it afflicts us with :(

  8. Tricia,

I agree fully with Brennie. You are very brave to post your experiences here and are an inspiration to us all. The more we can share about this dreadful condition the more we will undersatnd it and others that are affected by it. And please do attend an OCD Action conference (I believe there is one in London this year) and tell the world of your experiences. You could also write about it for the OCD Action Newsletter so that people who don't use the forum can hear about it.

I have been deeply touched by all the replies here, so much so that I was lost for words (I know that's probably a first!) and have therefore delayed responding. Thank you all.

Jerama, you and I did not see eye to eye on one subject a couple of years back and I know we had quite a heated exchange. I just want to say how much I admire you. It takes a special person to offer support and encouragement when there has been such a dispute in the past. This is the second time you have been so kind and supportive. Thank you.

    Love, Tricia.
