  2. Hi Swan, welcome to the forums. Guess what? Me too... After the buzz of Christmas, things have hit a low ebb with me, since we are now looking forward to winter, it is still dark half the day in England.
I'm getting disillusioned with my writing too.
The CBT just has to be worth it when it comes, so hold on for it to come.
Have you had an assessment appointment yet? I had one about a month and a half ago, and I'm still waiting to start therapy. It will be worth it in the end, I'm pretty sure, although my OCD makes me doubt even that...

  4. Hi swan,

Good to see you back on the forum.

I'm sorry that you're feeling so low at the moment. Do you know when you're getting more CBT?

  5. Hello Swan, me too. Feeling fairly awful at the moment.

There's CBT on the way though, and everything will start to get better as the weather improves into the brightness of summer.

  6. Hi,
Thanks for replies. The CBT was supposed to have followed on from my three month stay at the Bethlem but was delayed so is about to start on 23rd four months after my discharge. Still better late than never.
I did see my gp today who has given me meds for anxiety for when I need them. Im anxious that I will get addicted to them. Was on Clanzepane last year and came off it whilst in hospital.

  7. Hi Swan, it is good that you now have a start date, it gives you a focus to move towards. I too hope to be doing CBT soon. All the best with it, by the way...

  11. Hi Swan,

Hang on in there, the 23rd will soon come round. I hope everyone else on this thread is feeling better than a week ago too.

I think everyone has high expectations about the new year, but when you suffer with this illness it can put a real dampener on things.

I wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope everyone on this forum feels better soon.
