My daughter is studying at Cardiff university and is finding it very difficult to cope with her OCD away from home. Does anyone know of anywhere she could go for support or anyone she could talk to?

There is a support group in Cardiff who meet on the first Tuesday of every month from 18.00 to 19.30. Contact Ian Hughes on 02920 335 555 or email ian.hughes@CardiffandVale.wales.nhs.uk
It may also be helpful for your daughter to speak to someone at the university who has responsibility for student care as universities are usually aware of OCD and how it can affect students and how they can help. Failing that she can call the OCD Action helpline on 0845 309 6232 or email at support@ocdaction.co.uk
Best wishes,
Caps
Hi, I'm not a professional or anything, but I too am a student with OCD, so if your daughter was happy to come on here and post or PM me then maybe I could help?
