    Hi ally82

I don't have intrusive thoughts as such but I have contamination fears that make me feel like there is a real threat when others might not be bothered by it.

Have you seen your doctor about your intrusive thoughts?

Best route that I know of is see your doctor, try and get some cbt and then see how you go with that as you can always consider medication too.

Also, get a good book to help you understand it all too, there are some suggestions if you click on 'Resources' (top right hand side of this page), 'In This Section: Books'.

    Hope this helps some.

    Take care.
