It clicked with me today that the reason why we don't use the dormant 80% function in our brains is because we have no reason to. so I thought what do we like to do the most and least of....The answer is communicate.

Which is why I thought it would be fantastic if we could have our mobile phones reduced to chip form and implanted into our heads. We could turn our mobiles on and off as we pleased. When we get a call or a text, we get electricuted. The advantage of this system is that you'll never miss a call again, mainly because you'll die.

Hey, another thing. Who would need telepathy? Discretion would become a thing of the past and you could have support group meetings out in the open air and not have to worry about people finding out what your talking about.

We could finally be free. By the way, it might just be me getting excited and overly high, but I think I like this girl I'm sitting next to, yet I don't think she knows it. I may be wrong, I usually am

Interesting, lol... Not sure I like the whole dying part, but you know...

The mention of telepathy reminds of a bit from one of the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy books, where a planet of people were punished with the "gift" of telepathy. At first they thought it was cool but after a while they hated hearing everyone's thoughts all the time, so in the end they had to keep constantly talking in order to drown out the telepathic signals, lol.

Giles, I am laughing so much here, with you not at you ok!! am I hearing right, chips implanted into our heads, so we can have the choice to listen or not listen. lol........ and get electricuted!!! oh my oh my, is this an advantage? Helz you mention about the hitch hikers guide to the galaxy and telepathy becoming a nusisance, well Giles you know that girl you were sitting next to, if you get electricuted like in that film , ' what women want', you'll never have to doubt yourself again, because you'll know exactly what she's thinking!!

hehe! I think it was just a thing of the moment thing. I probably won't feel that way again.

I don't really go for interracial relationships either. I'd feel bad too, because she comes from a rough part of Africa and would feel like I am taking advantage of a defenceless young lady who just wants to please everyone she meets.

I am not sure that that part of our brains is unused, seriously. It might just be that we don't know its function. Evolution has a way of eliminating unused parts eventually. Perhaps, if fertilizing technology advances more, we won't need our genitalia any more. So they will become redundant, and will get smaller over time.

(Something says me that that idea is not so joyous to contemplate. We might be missing the odd fun encounter then.)

Yep, I was just stealing their ideas. Its basically just a brick used to build houses that you throw at flies and it squashes them
