  1. Hello All, i have heard today that i am going to be admitted into the Bethlam Royal Hospital at the end of October for my 12 weeks stay on the Anxiety Disorder Unit for therapy for my acute OCD.
I have come to realize that this is my only way of survival if i want any quality of my last years in life , i know its late in life to accept treatment but i cant do this alone anylonger .... i desperately need this kind of treatment, i have done everything else numerous CBT sessions, most SSRI'S none of which has worked for me.

  2. Hi again
I didnt realise you would be going in for 2 weeks ?
Is that without going home at all ?
I cant do that at the moment as i have the children. I wish i could though !
I know from having group that it might make me better.

  10. [quote="cxc_20081":3c6vq86r]Bus drivers are not force officers, they did not preindication up to risk their lives and they should not feature the aforementioned worries as personnel officers mightiness as they go to occupation informal. If you want to buy cheap ,please come here. Near worsened, if a mentally ill cause is on the bus, a wood has to mickle with the place un-armed. Is it that often to ask for metal detectors, or many sort of section to ad superfluous comfortableness to passengers and drivers?

I don't mean to be rude here, but what on earth are you talking about?

  11. The posting by cxc_200081 was an advertising or spam posting and is nothing to do with OCD. It is an abuse of the use of the bulletin board and as such cxc_200081 has been deleted as a user and banned from the board.

I am sorry that this got through the system. We do have a number of checks that we carry out before authorising a new users in order to prevent this sort of abuse, however, we give the benefit of the doubt and allow a registration where we are not 100% certain and that is what happened on this occasion. Each time a spammer or abuser gets through it adds to our database and knowledge to help us prevent further abuses. We run the most up to date spam protection software and procedures but as we have an open policy to encourage people with OCD to register it is inevitable that some spammers and abusers will get through but these are usually identified quickly and appropriate action taken. The board, as do all bulletin boards, recieves a very large number of "hits" per day from potential absuers and we have a good record of preventing abusers getting through.

If anyone suspects that anyone is abusing the board in this way please do not hesitate to send me or any administrator a PM and we will investigate and take appropriate action.
