  1. Thanks

I'm ok - just really confused.

  2. Hiya Nicola -

may I ask what kind(s) of medicine was advised to you? And why you don't want to take them? If you don't want to answer this, it's of course perfectly right with me. Or you may want only to tell me in a PM. It is up to you.

I ask this because I know a bit about different types of medication, and their side effects. Perhaps I could alleviate your reluctance.

Apart from my curiosity: here's crossed fingers for you. Somehow we're all in the same boat, despite the many guises of OCD and related disorders.

I think the world, including the clinical world, should know a lot more about the predicament.

    Kind regards, Cuthbert.

  3. It was olanzapine then sertraline and quetiapine. Apart from the side effects, I don't need them. My OCD is getting better and the other stuff is true.

I know I tried to tell people - but they just don't want to believe me.
I won't give up though - I'm waiting for the right time and I'm going to save the world, I just need to be careful of the other people.

  4. No one asked you to read it.

Give it up - right ok, you stop having OCD then.
You don't stop something that is true.

I've been chosen, so I know what I'm talking about, they chose me for a reason.
They want me to tell everyone.

I really don't care what you think - I never have.
Someone I know said you're too bitchy, that's from looking at the forum once.

Maybe you're actually with them - totally the wrong side.

    So once again EPIC FAIL!!!

  6. Nicola - who chose you for a reason? What are you up to now? Please explain, by PM if you like. You've got me wondering now.
Sorry you're so upset. As far as I'm concerned you can talk as much twaddle as you like - that's what forums are for!

  7. Thanks

I'm not sure who they are - but they're trying to help me as well.
I'm not sure what to do - I'm trying to get my message out, but no one believes me.
I know people are lying to me and I think if I can see someone alone - that would really help.

  8. Hi Nicola,

You know that I'm here for you if you need to talk.
Will send you a PM later today as hands are sore and I'm having problems with builders failing to turn up, nothing new there.

[Reference to another member edited by Caps] nothing is ever past its sell-by date if it’s causing another person pain!

Nicola, most of us are here to help you. I know you are mature enough to rise above the few who are not.

I’ll be in touch soon. Going through a rough time and only just happened to catch this.

    Love, Tricia x

  10. Hi Nicola -

I'm here for you, just like the others. Do give us a heads up from time to time about how you feel and think. Never be afraid that you are talking nonsense. No one here is. I am certain you have your own realities to deal with, just like all of us do. Write as you please, you won't be ridiculed.

    Cheers, Cuthbert.

Although I appreciate that my reference to another member might appear inappropriate, I do not feel my message went beyond what is acceptable, given the content of the original message from that member. It now appears to anyone reading this thread that I may have made some random attack on another member without justification, as her message has been removed in its entirety.

Caps, in these circumstances would it not be preferable to edit a sentence and then notify the person concerned, rather than leaving the edit note in the way in which you have? Also my comment about a 'sell-by date' no longer makes any sense, nor does Wombat's referrence to 'twaddle'.

    Tricia.

    Dear Tricia

I have emailed you separately so you know why caps removed the messages. I only read the first removed message and it was impossible to edit. All of us who are writing at present know what was said so your messages do make sense.

Hi all forum members. Once again a huge thankyou for the kindness and help you have given me over the past 7 weeks. You have been a huge help in my recovery. I guess I have about 85% control at present and the thoughts are the main remaining problem.

I hope that everyone on the forum will be treated with the same kindness as me from now on. There are two important reasons why. 1. We do not want to frighten new members from joining. 2.Just because we do not understand someone's problems we still should give them our undivided and unconditional support. After all that is what the forum is for is it not?

    Happy Christmas guys and gals.

Much love and thanks to you all
    Glad

If anyone feels left out and unable to cope why not start a new topic? We are here to help regardless.

  13. Just to explain to anyone who's confused (I was!)
    TWO things have been removed;
    1) A message posted by Brennie, between Nicola's posting on the 17th and her other one on the 20th.
    2) A bit of Tricia's posting made on the 21st, replaced by "[Reference to another member edited by Caps]". I think it referred to Brennie's posting.
    Hope that clears that up.
Nicola, I'm sorry things are still so sticky for you. Have you got an appointment with your psychologist any time soon? That'd be someone to talk to.
Good to hear that Glad is doing so well. Congratulations Glad!
    Merry Christmas everybody!

I see my psychologist in January. I guess it's not to long.
She's great though, she totally understands.
