Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Hello all,
Just to keep you updated... the advocacy service is starting to get very busy.. issues so far : OCD getting people into serious debt because of throwing out of contaminated items, OCD and Work- "to disclose or not to disclose" (people afraid of getting sacked or not being taken on if they say they have OCD), OCD and Uni- bright students getting failed because of handing work in late due to 'checking', lack of CBT in a language other than English, Lack of CBT period!,tennants losing their flats because they disclose their OCD, people not being able to get appropriate beneftis such as 'Incapacity Benefit' because of the nature of non OCD friendly forms..
