  1. Hi, my name is Andrew, and whilst I have not suffered from OCD, my father (Ratwomble) has. I showed some sympathetic symptons, such as checking doors being closed and taps being off, and I also had some anxiety attacks which were horrible, especially after school. Anyway, now my dad is getting better, so am I, and I want to provide some help to others who have, been affected by and are caring for those with OCD.

  6. Hi Andrew,

    Welcome to the forum

    Hello, I'm a little new....
I kept meaning to ask a little new what?
Sorry but got a warped sense of humour and I don't think that I can blame it on my OCD

  7. A little bit new...
    ... to the forum ^_^

I've got a pretty weird sense of humour too, I blame it on the apricot jam I thought was marmalade that I slathered on my toast this morning

  8. Did someone mention apricot jam? I adore apricot jam and it's fine to eat it for breakfast. I even put a big dollop on top of yoghurt or on raw fruit.
Shortly before my mum died (in 1983) she made a pan full of apricot jam and it didn't set. We all tried to convince her that it was delicious but she wasn't happy with it - so against family advice she poured it all back in the pan and recooked it - but left it on the cooker and forgot about it. When she died we discovered several jars of burnt apricot jam and felt obliged to eat them in her memory. Could have done with you at the time Andrew to help us out with the task.

  13. Apricot definitely top favourite - followed by gooseberry, damson, plum, pineapple, rhubarb with ginger - less favoured are strawberry, raspberry, bramble jelly, blackcurrant and burnt apricot is right at the bottom.
