Hi folks, I'm Dave and new to this forum as you can probably tell. I just wondered if there is anybody here who has attended the OCD support groups in Scotland? or if there is anybody from Scotland on here who has OCD and would just like to have a little chat etc

Welcome to the forum, sorry I'm from the opposite end of the country - Cornwall, but there are definitely some Scottish members and there are support groups in Glasgow and Edinburgh. If you go onto the Support and Info section above and click on Getting Support and then Support Groups it will give you details.

I know some, but it's up to each member to make their own contacts and their own friends. A lot of members are struggling with their OCD and busy lives and so they are not on the forum on a regualr basis. Also we have some members who go through regular bad spells when they stay off the forum until they feel better. Stick with us and you will find some friends here. You could always try using the Forum Topic Search box on the right and you can send private messages which go directly to the member's personal e-mail.

Hi Tess, yeah I wasn't going to hound people who live in Scotland to talk to me lol, I was just wondering. I totally understand, I came on hear to talk, listen and make new friends and its up to them if they want to approach me, no problem with me. How are you today?

I'm not from Scotland, but I went to the highlands in the Summer. Lovely place! We're a friendly bunch and give amazing advice to others
