I'm back! What? I thought I'd only been gone 10 seconds! That Doctor is really bad at navigating the TARDIS!

Ah well, it was still really fun! He took me to New Year's Eve, 999 AD, and we saw the dawn of the new millenium, the year 1000! We partied Anglo-Saxon style. The we went to 2099 and saw in the year 3000, which was...well, I don't want to give anything away.

  3. was dancing the clomiprimine clomp and tripped over someone that was asleep on the floor, I don't know who it was as they were so shocked that they ran off screaming into the night. No doubt they'll be back shortly when the waiter's crack open the expensive champagne shortly.

We're having champagne to toast the New Year and then going out onto the terrace to watch a magnificent firework display.

One of the waiters wants to know the name of the idiot that's left a Police Box in the middle of the drive as it's causing an obstruction Not only that but it's lowering the tone of the neighbourhood and causing property prices to fall (even further )

I've begun the New Year feeling angry and hostile towards my family. I haven't wished them Happy New Year and I don't want to. Especially my Dad. I've really grown to dislike him. As I've gotten older I've come to see him for what he really his, at times a deeply unpleasant man. The worst part is that I see elements of him in myself, and I don't want to be anything like him. This year, I am going to distance myself from him.

  8. Oh Helz,

I'm sorry that things aren't going well for you. I've felt like that at times about my family and it's not a nice feeling is it?
Remember just because you feel that you've started the year on the wrong foot doesn't mean that it's going to continue that way.

I'm going to have to leave the party now, I think. I'm going to go to bed and read a book...

I'll get the Doc to move his TARDIS before I go, he can give me a lift home.

  11. I think perhaps we should adjourn to bed and leave the servants to clear up the mess, for we have made one hell of a mess after this evenings do. Plus as it's wet outside we seem to have walked in a lot of mud when we came in from watching the firework display Which incidentally was really impressive and a fine end to a perfect evening.
Anyone that can't be bothered to wend their weary way home can stay at the castle as there are plenty of guest rooms. Just go to the front hall to be allocated a room for the night

Sleep well everyone and we'll meet up for breakfast tomorrow later today

    Sweet dreams

  14. I know that I got up late, but when I went down for breakfast I was the only one there

Mind you the waiters were very attentive and I was treated like royalty

Any of you coming back to the party this evening?

  15. Decided to take a break for a bit. Might be back by Twelfth Night, though.
Anyone else who wants to come along, make yourselves at home!
Incidentally, at the original Aspie Village bonfire, some people weren't able to post on the actual night but came along a few days later and added an account of what they'd been up to at the party. Why not? Any latecomers might bear that in mind.
