Dear Teresa, I'm so sorry to hear how you are feeling, I am not much help to you or anyone at the moment, because I am feeling the same, hating OCD and the continual battle. Can't your psychiatrist help you with this? He said you were fit to work. I don't see how your boss can discriminate like this. Have you phoned OCD Action and asked for advice, they are really helpful.

    Love, Tricia.

  4. Hi Teresa,

Don't give up! It's not been a total waste of time. If your psychiatrist said you were fit to work, then he would know best. If they want to get rid of you because of your OCD then that's discrimination and you should have a case against it. Hang in there!

  9. Teresa, your boss sounds a right **** head, he is trying to wear you out and it sounds as though you are letting him succeed .... Dont let him win ! this guy is totally out of order, he has no right to discriminate you like this.

You are made of stronger stuff than you think hunny :) you have waited for months to be heard so another couple of weeks will fly by, hang in there Teresa please.

Dont apologise to us for anything afterall that is what we are here for , you have gone through hell with this amount of pressure , believe me Teresa " i think you are marvellous " to have suffered this length of time, but not to worry it will soon be over.

    love brennie x :)

  10. Hi Teresa,

There's no need to appologise! We like to know what's going on so we can try to help and support you.
This is discrimination, and they don't seem to have a case. It just seems like your boss is trying to bully you out of your job, so don't give up! If he could legally fire you, don't you think he would have done that already? Since it seems to be taking so long, he obviously doesn't have much of a case. It is unfair dismissal.

  11. Hi,
    Thanks for everyones support.
I decided to go to my drs today as occupational health said there wasn't a reason for me to go back unless my gp didn't agree.
So i return to work on monday and will now be ighting the situation within work. unless my boss suspends me. I have come to the conclusion that my boss is not bothered about sending relevant reports. I think my boss is just playing for time so i go onto half pay. If i do ultimately lose my job going onto half pay is not helpful.
Im apprehensive about what will happen on monday but have decided no matter when i go back i will be apprehensive.

Dear Teresa, That is very good news, it looks as though Monday is a big day for you, Bren and Nicola! You go in there holding your head up high. You have had such a fight to get to this point and you have been so courageous. I hope all goes well for you.

    Love, Tricia.

    Hi Teresa

That would be right, you can't win can you?! Have you considered looking for another job?Or are you worried about what kind of reference they would give you?
