    Hi Everyone,

I have just spotted and read a fantastic information pack on the OCD Action "Resources" page. (I'm not sure how I could have missed it before, so maybe it's quite new. Or maybe I just didn't notice it!)

Here's the link. It's called "Employing People With OCD":

I think this information pack is just brilliant. I have disclosed my OCD to my employers already, so I'm going to print off some copies of this information pack, and give them to my managers at work. (I will ask them to place a copy in my employee file, for any future managers that might be assigned to my department in the future.)

I love this document. It points out the advantages of helping employees with OCD, and spells out the employers' responsibilities when dealing with or hiring any disabled employees, specifically OCD sufferers.

This link might be of interest to some other forum users. (Especially if you are considering disclosing your OCD at work, or have already done so, or if you are debating whether or not to tell your line managers.)

    Another great information pack!

  2. I'm glad you found the information pack useful. The Advocacy service we offer is unique to OCD Action and has proved to be a great success especially in employment and housing issues. We employ a fully trained and qualified professional to manage this service. We could not do this without the support and subscriptions from our members.

  4. Thats a great pack. With my work experience, I decided after speaking to my teachers not to disclose OCD. But I hope this pack does help others why may want to. Brilliantly created as well!

  5. Indeed this is a great pack but why is it necessary for Londoner to have to draw all these resources to people's attention - they are all on this website which has a wealth of fantastic information - and it's so easy to use. Please can I encourage all forum users to become acquainted with the site.
