  1. I have 2 dogs, and it seems that they really help my OCD, it gives me something to focus on, rather than the OCD.

  2. ahh, Rena!!! What a lovely post!!

There is without doubt, animals are special. Help with my OCD? you would not believe. But I would love to share this story with you guys about my Fluffy , my cat and how he helps me with my OCD.

The moment I got him, my heart melted. He was 7 weeks old. I also had a feeling that is so hard to describe, I felt as if he already knew me. I know it sounds weird. Lots of weird things happen to me, but their wonderfully weird.

A week before my brother passed away, Fluffy was acting very very strange. He kept on starring at my brothers pic and he wanted my constant attention. He also went off his food. Well I didn't think anything of it. Well my beautiful brother did go to heaven 21st of Dec last year. He was due to come home for xmas.

Now my faith is such our loved ones move on to a higher realm. So since that day of his passing, I light a candle and offer my blessings ,have done everyday since. The first time I lit the candle and placed it before my brothers pic, my Fluffy came and sat next to me as I said my healing prayer for him. He did this a few times.

Now it's not sad but beautiful. I have my brothers ashes here in my home. My Fluffy never touches it, he jumps around everything but never goes there.

The comfort and the special connection I have learned from Fluffy is none other than love and compassion. He seemed to have felt everything before I did and tried to let me know that he cares. I will never ever forget that experience and during that passing away, my OCD, vanished!!!! I have tears of joy in my eyes writing this!!!.

Enjoy the comfort of your Dogs Rena, they are a blessing.

    Pam.
