  2. Hello Flower,
Thanks for contacting this site and sharing your concerns with us. I don't know if you have OCD or not. The things you do are everyday common sense things. The question is; do you do them too often and does doing these things affect your life adversely and take up too much of your time? Also, how do you feel if you don't do them? If it does not affect you too much or take up too much time then probably it is not OCD and maybe it is just that you are a bit fussy. There is nothing wrong with that as we all have our likes and dislikes - and why not it is your life - and the worst that can happen is that your sister and friends find your ways a bit annoying. But that works two ways as they probably do things or have habits that annoy you or others. So in that respect be confident to be yourself.

Go and see your GP if you are really worried but perhaps the best thing is to consider why you do the things and if it is taking up too much of your time and preventing you from doing anything else. But whatever you do don't stop being sensible like checking to see if the door is locked or taking normal hygiene precautions.

Let us know how you get on.

    Best wishes,
    Caps
