Dear Daniel, I don't think relationships are something that you need to work through, by that I mean you don't need to gradually build up experience by having several girlfriends over the years. I have friends who discovered that their first love was their soul mate. As Brennie said, love will come naturally when you meet the right person. You are such a giving, selfless person that the sharing and give and take essential to a good relationship will just come naturally to you.
I am worried about your concerns with weight and your appearance, you are perfect just as you are! If you are not eating adequate nutrients that in itself will lead to depression and possibly a worsening of your OCD. I know that the longer an obsession has a hold on us the harder it tends to be to shake off. I have suffered eating disorders in the past, both over and under eating. I can recall when I ate very little (five yogurts a day and nothing else) for a year, how in control I felt, despite being very depressed and underweight. It is frightening how on some online sites people actually encourage each other to eat less and less.
I would really try to stop weighing yourself. I was told not to, years ago. Your exercise is going to do you so much good, but if you don't eat well you will lose the energy and the incentive.
Love, Tricia x
P.S. Brennie, how are you doing? I don't know if you received my messages.
