  1. Is there anybody around the Chesterfield-Mansfield area who would be interested in starting up and OCD group? I live in between but am happy to go either way.

Just message me if you are.

    Many thanks,

  7. Have just found this Thread, and Mansfield/chesterfield are is most definitely NOT OCD free! I've got it... I, due to my OCD difficulties would not feel able to take on the responsibility... As an ex-care worker, amongst other jobs, to even think I could would be pure insanity... If others in the area would like to ry and meet on an informal type basis, it might be good... The fear I have is that we could simply getting together to complain to each other how we feel, and just end up 'licking our wounds' so to speak... That would be no use to me at all... I sometimes think I could do with a 'mentor' someone who, in the absence of a main therapist, could provide ongoing support as we do sort of group therapy?
My OCD is so bad sometimes, I can barely function, let alone run a group of any kind, let alone CBT...
