I really thought it was an excellent idea to broadcast on youtube, so don't give up hope. Dear Giles,
How could you say no one likes you when you've got 14 friends on the forum and many more admirers. None of us are laughing at you only with you.
You've got to have a little faith in yourself otherwise you'll give people entirely the wrong impression, that is people will start to think that you've given up on yourself. And that's not true is it? - you've obviously not given up as you still want to dance. You will dance again just have a little patience - Rome wasn't built in a day! In the meantime enjoy yourself and then without trying you will find the dance partner of your dreams.

Hey Giles. Give it chance, your videos have only been up there for a day or two. There's bound to be loads of women out there who'd happily be your partner. And 2007/8 wasn't that long ago, and you're still only 29, so your old form shouldn't be far away yet. Once you get a partner and start practicing again, you'll be back there again.

UnregisteredWell, my dance teacher advised me that she hasn't danced for 2 years because she's had 2 kids. I'm not really sure it would work (the avoidance/response precention issue should be fine) because the question is could she afford and commit to it? I don't honestly see it happening.

I've just been a bit of a git, there.I just want to know that she can afford the private lessons and the competitions, including the finals and not just do it socially - Its very expensive, you see.
$150 for shoes/high heels
$1600 for a years lessons (private/practise)
up to $500 for a dress
$250 for competition entries (much of that is made up of the finals weekend accommodation)
$40 for the yearly medal testsI did a rough currency conversion for the above mentioned stuff

Unregistered Again, I merely try to do my best Kimberly texted today and said she wasn't missing dancing much. Thats ruled her out completely and narrowed down the field by 100%

Giles, I caught up on your videos. Ah I can see how determined and talented you are when you walz!! just beautiful Giles. You know, where their is passion their is a way forward. All your attempts to find someone, will pay off. Wait and see. Nothing you do to better yourself will ever go in vain.
As for working in the community, IT, sounds great!!! and you could always pass on your expertise to us
