MPs told about the Care Crisis

Carers are being let down by a care system which is complex, costly and unfair. That’s the message from Carers UK’s new campaign to get urgent political consensus on the reform of the social care system. We are urging MPs to not let the Dilnot recommendations on care and support be brushed under the carpet.

    Carers Rights Registration

Every year Carers UK supports over 1,000 local events across the country for carers to find out about their rights. This year’s event will be Friday 2nd December and the theme will be ‘money matters’. Groups and organisations can register now for an Organiser’s Handbook.

    Hardest Hit

The Hardest Hit campaign is taking to the streets in cities across the UK to protest against Government cuts to disability benefits and services. Following our protest in May, when an estimated 8,000 people marched on Parliament, further events will take place across the UK this October. Find out if there is an event in your area.
