The closest support group I've been able to find is in York but that is way too far away for me so I was wondering if there is anything closer to me?

You could try contacting the York group to see if they know of a group that is nearer to where you live alternatively contact your local Mind branch to see if they run or know of a group that includes people with OCD in your area.
