  2. I had an eating disorder when I was in my twenties and my weight never got above 7.25 stone. I am 5ft 5 ins tall, so was pretty skinny. Unlike some anorexics, I was not so much concerned about my appearance (appearing overweight), but was more concerned that eating "too much" food would in some way, make me physically ill. I suffered from Bulimia and whenever I ate a full meal I would feel sick and so took this as a sign that the food was bad for me, so I would make myself vomit.
Thankfully, I am fully cured of the eating disorder and have been for many years, but I have a weakened diaphragm from years of vomiting and am prone to acid reflux and heartburn because of the strain I put on my digestive system all those years ago.
I would like to chat about the subject as I feel that eating disorders such an anorexia and bulimia, can make your life miserable and its so easy to pretend you dont have anything wrong with you - which is the worst thing an anorexix or bulimic person can do.
