I've had several people asking me via PMs, who is Nimrod and how did he/she become a keymaster? I have also been asked what has happened to Caps as it has been confusing that some older posts that appear to be from Nimrod are signed "Caps".
The answer is simple. I have changed my name. Caps is my old name that I have been using for donkeys years and I fancied a change, so Nimrod was born - and just to confuse myself I changed my password as well!
So now I am Nimrod, but that is where the changes end. I still intend to administer and moderate the forum with as light a touch and as fairly and as consistently I as have always tried to do over the years.
Of course I am not the only Keymaster, Soxon and Joel are also keymasters and we have a team of moderators and between us we are on the forum for much of the day. We can't quite manage a 24/7 coverage at present although we would like to. Other than Joel who is the Director of OCD Action the keymasters and moderators are all volunteers who do the work at their own expense and in their own time. To clear up any other confusion a Keymaster (kown as an Administrator on the old forum)has access to all areas of the forum, can make changes to the forum and can moderate posts. A moderator can moderate posts. Nobody, including keymasters and moderators can see Private Messages (PMs) between members or see passwords.
At present we are working hard to improve the forum. We are aware that there are a number of inconsistencies and things that need improving. This is your forum so if you have any suggestions, wants or complaints then please do let us know and we will do our best to address them as we plan to update in the near future.
